Re: OGW Q&A with David Rosen
Will we see any 'feral' actions in overgrowth? I like the idea's of different species having different physics and playstyle, but none of the species feel 'animal' to me. Things like a run on all fours, biting, clawing seem like they could add more variety to the characters, and show that you are pl...

Re: More Fantasy in Overgrowth
I believe that the overgrowth universe is largely based on a series of books called "redwall".
I'm guessing for the most part, you can use that as a guide.

Re: [POLL] Which kind of custom OG content most interests y
I prefer a middle ground. You can't have any sort of urgency from the plot of a single level (unless you write a novel of dialog which would also be bad), you just don't know the characters enough to care so it turns out silly.
and playing as master chief in the overgrowth universe is also silly.

Re: MAP|| Linear Pathing
The level crashed at the end.
I've never really been a fan of mixing parkour and fighting, they always just run off the map.

Re: MAP|| Linear Pathing
I am out of town, when I get back I'll be playing the maps that have been released. But I'd guess a lot of people only use the SUM launcher, and have been demotivated from the lack of update.

Re: [Map] Desert Warriors
That didn't fix it either. Maybe someone else will test the level, and we can see if it's my machine or the level causing the problem.

Re: New Map Desert Warriors
Thats the only map it's doing it on, and it's always at the same point.
Do you have any dependencies I might not have installed?

Re: How long with the Overgrowth campaign be?
Not to burst your bubble, but I'm guessing the next updates will be focused more towards campaign creation tools, instead of actual content. Things like actually linking levels together is what I'm guessing. As for the actual campaign, I'm envisioning a pretty linear story maybe the length/size of m...

[Map] A parkour tutorial
So this is my first map. It's really short. The point is to show the basics of parkour mechanics. It was originally supposed to have a little map at the end, but that map has become quite big and will be released "soon" . Anyways, thoughts & suggestions are always welcome. I wasn't sur...

Re: Saving Levels
Just clicking "save level" overwrites whatever level you opened. So it'd be in your Data\Levels\whateverFileYouOpened.xml

How canon is the parkour element?
Do we have any idea how much parkour is actually part of the overgrowth universe? Obviously mechanics like the huge jumps and wall jumping have to exist to an extent, but how much are players/map makers abusing the engine to do things that aren't part of the universe? I know there is probably not a ...
