Re: 12 more new maps

Hmm. I think most of the necessary maps are already made - Some of the outdoor ones for pursuing the kidnappers, the city ones for the two big cities and some towns and forts along the route, the narrow platform ones for fighting along the border wall in the mountains. I could make a couple more for...

Re: 12 more new maps

Plot: (Just what I was thinking when I originally made this, available to change): So, game world is split into two warring kingdoms, Yazin and Hunza (I'm getting these place names from northern Pakistan, if you want to know, again, this is completely amenable to change.) They two kingdoms are separ...

Re: 12 more new maps

Kehaar -
I could write a script if you wanted. I figured someone not me would want to do that, as compared to setting up the dialogue that's the fun part... However, if you don't want to, I could definitely do it.

Re: 12 more new maps

Hey - Would anybody want to take these maps and the last bunch I made (http://forums.wolfire.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4262&start=0) and turn it into a campaign? I think it'd be fun to try to get them on the auto-downloader thing. I don't have time to do it myself, and I can never get the dialogue to ...

Re: 12 more new maps

Glad y'all liked them. I hope Overgrowth retains the organic look Lugaru had in some of those desert levels ... Right now it looks like lot of the building materials don't blend in with the ground and this kind of map wouldn't look as good. Although, I don't know as I can't get it to work on my mach...

12 more new maps

Made some more new maps. Again named maps 1 - 12 so save your challenge maps first. Some screenshots below.

Re: Lugaru: Reluctant Assassin

Making enormous maps with wide open spaces doesn't help. It doesn't contribute anything. It's exactly the same as fighting on the same empty map over and over again. You need to make smaller maps with tighter spaces so that you can use the spaces against your opponents. Putting 8 rabbits facing forw...

Re: 12 New Maps

Uh, that's pretty weird. I had some troubles with a couple of the maps so I had to scrap them, the ones that made it in here were the ones that didn't give me any glitches. Anyways, didn't do any of that on my computer. I hope Overgrowth irons out this sort of thing cuz' it's pretty annoying, I agree.

Re: 12 New Maps

Oh, forgot to add, I included a monochrome texture for the snow levels, because I thought it looked better. Use it if you like.

12 New Maps

I made these 12 maps. Originally I was going to turn it into a campaign, but it was just too bloody buggy and time-consuming so I never did. If anyone wants to do this they are completely welcome to. Anyway I took the liberty of naming them map1-12 so that you can play them as challenge levels. Orig...

Yes, I am saving the map, and yes, I am changing objects. Interestingly, when I try to resize the objects the number goes up and down even though there's no object being resized - it's almost like the object's invisible or it's placed somewhere on the map where I can't see it.

I'm kind of stumped.

cannot place objects in map editor

Exactly as the title says. Press "M" and nothing happens. I can delete objects seemingly fine but I can't place them. Also the bushes keep coming back on all of my levels despite me repeatedly deleting them.

Help.
