Re: Overgrowth on Linux status
Adding more steps like having people download the windows version and then somehow extract the linux components onto that would only complicate things. FAIL WHALE! :) I was trying to hint at a scheme involving separation of code and data, or (in a different set of symbols comprised of letters) at a...

Re: Overgrowth on Linux status
So if I already have an up-to-date Overgrowth install under Wine, do I really need to wait for this ridiculous 1.6 GB download? You can't possibly expect me to believe that the Linux-specific parts (binaries, other gobbledygook you've shoved in there) are anything but a small fraction of that! ;) R...

Re: Community Item Browser?
The only problem with using dropbox is not intended as a large-scale hosting services. You are limited to about 20GB of transfer per day for public links. I could see this running into potential issues if people use it a lot.

Re: Overgrowth on Linux status
OH, I do have a question for you all.. In my original video I posted many of you commented about how badly I played (I've gotten better). And also noted the framerate drop/lag. The lag on my seems seems to ONLY occur when the ragdoll physics kicks in. So could you all test (holding the Z key or the...

Re: Overgrowth on Linux status
also, are there plans in the future to take advantage of the differential zips that are released between patches? or will the installer need to be re-wrapped with the full update of each alpha release? - eric. These differential files are already used to upgrade the alphas by the SUMLauncher , whic...

While Jeff is re-uploading, the link has been removed, since MD5's weren't matching up. Please remain calm, it should be up again as soon as it's confirmed to work =)

Re: [Auto Updater] SUMLauncher
Hey, Anton told me this was the place to ask about proxies and SumLauncher. Says you plan to address the issue in the future, which is fine I'm in no hurry. My question was http://forums.wolfire.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=15298. Hiya, thanks for letting us know. Proxy support is indeed something ...

Re: Bug reporting station
On a178, it appears all of the wolves, placed or not placed by myself, are all being stretched. This did not happen on a177. clear your cache and it will fix it. Which you can easily do by downloading the SUMlauncher and choosing 'File'>'Delete Local Files...' from SUMLauncher's menu and usin...

Please try to read the first post! This topic is -not- for bug posting. Instead you should be posting in the post for the alpha you are testing!

Re: Big Bug!
This can happen when you're using software like ControllerMate that generates virtual controller input, which the game picks up and simply executes as normal. Make sure to disable such software, or any unusual drivers for controllers. Alternatively you can modify the configurations and just remove t...

Re: what is your favourute species in overgrowth?
It's really hard to answer that... While quite a few rabbit models are in the game, the other races have not been developed anywhere near as much. Conceptually I like the dogs, but since artistically the rabbits have been explored the most and just have the most varied/interesting look, I'd have to ...

Re: [Auto Updater] SUMLauncher
SUMLauncher Alpha 1.8 is now available: • Fixed bug where the Menu Mod would not properly install/update. • Added 'Split Screen' tag to the config editor. You can grab the new version by running the SUMLauncher and choosing to update when prompted (new users can find downloads in the first post). h...

A quick google search would have shown you otherwise: http://www.avg.com/ww-en/faq.num-3857LilDeamon wrote:AVG seems to have no option for that. Forcefully ending all processes doesn't work either as they relaunch soon after.
