Re: No female characters planned?

I think that Overgrowth, featuring anthropomorphic animals, already gets unjustified flack for being a "furry" game. I don't think adding overly sexually appealing females would help the game on this subject. In fact, those slanderers would even have a point then.

Re: John Support Thread

I think it's more likely that he was a tad nervous because of the people, and most of all, the cameras.

But John and the rest of the team are still freakin' awesome. :P

Re: The "John's beard" thread!

There is a time for off-topicness, and there is a time for great beards. The time for beards has come once more: http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a346/Llorkan/pvkiipinkbeard.jpg It's a (cheaply) reskinned berzerker from PVKII . Also, admire how subtly I got the company name in the screenshot as well.

Re: Overgrowth isn't Lugaru 2?

I think one of the main reasons is to differentiate Overgrowth from Lugaru, since Overgrowth is being made a lot more professionally than Lugaru was in its day.

Re: Lugaru: Reluctant Assassin

On the subject of throwing knives, is it just me, or are rabbits and wolves immune to them? It's kinda annoying. My only chance of surviving 10 angry rabbits is no longer an option... :( Rabbits are generally good at catching knives, and depending on the difficulty level wolves can be as well. You ...

Re: Sneek Peek of Upcoming Red Dawn Campaign

Heh, nice idea, and great work on the textures. :D

Little bit of nitpicking: it's a sneak peek. Not a sneek peek, nor is it a sneak peak. It's a peek you sneakingly take. It's not that hard to remember. :X

Re: Wolves! WTH!

If you have a knife, throw it in the wolf and rip it out again when he's on the ground (roll and Q). This insta-kills them. If you're unarmed (as you usually are :(), you should keep jumping and saltoing in front of the wolf until he's confused (he'll just stand around). At this point, land a rabbit...

Since no one seems to have mentioned yet (I searched!)... Overgrowth made the top five indie games in the player's choice awards! :]

Awesome campaign! Every level was interesting, and not as frustratingly hard as some of the other campaigns available. Love it!
