I am thoroughly against an RPG style inventory where you hold huge amounts of things magically. That said, if you're dealing with shopkeepers or something I don't think having a screen there is unreasonable. Some kind of realtime axis changing when that could be preprocessed in textures. It could be, but we are doing it this way because then it works with the 3DS max default object space normal map shader, and so lets us check work sooner and overall make the workflow faster. Yeah.. Dev textures.. I don't see how they're needed though because we are working with meshes and not BSP brushwork. Why are you trying to police the internet. If someone wants to make a gore mod then let them. If someone wants to make a sex mod then let them. I don't think overgrowth is meant for young kids anyway.

I was thinking last night about setting up a garrysmod.org (http://www.garrysmod.org) type search engine to host overgrowth mods. This could obviously be accessed from in-game too.
