I'm really getting sick of games without local co-op

I'm not talking single-player games, nor am I talking games that are clearly meant to be online only, but games like Bulletstorm, Monster Hunter, and now apparently Dragon's Dogma, too, are really starting to irritate me. You know, games that are clearly meant to be multiplayer outings and yet force...

Oh the frustration. I think that may have been my first JRPG (other than Pokemon). Man was that hellish.

On second thought, it may have been Dragon Quest 2. One of the early ones.

I think slimes are my most hated enemy now though haha.

Exile: Escape From the Pit. Anyone else remember it? Was a tough as hell game for me back then.

Re: Proun (abstract racing game)

You know, I'm not entirely sure. The video is the best look at the game we have right now, and from the video, it looks like an increasingly speedy race through paintings on a pipe, where the object is to dodge a bunch of blocks attached to the pipe. Then again, it could also not be about that at all.

Proun (abstract racing game)

If anyone hasn't seen this yet, watch the video in the link below. It's hard to describe. I'm not entirely sure what to think about it yet. Pretty neat that it's been shown off in museums, though.

Oh hey, look. The user Metacritic score just doubled overnight. So... Blorx, oh great believer in the Metacritic userbase, does that mean that the game has just spontaneously become better? Nah, I just thought it was funny. I wasn't attempting to use it to back anything. I just had noted that it ha...

Re:

*sigh* Blorx, have you even played it? No, and I can say without a doubt that I probably won't unless someone gifts it to me. Because your facts are all over the place. For a start, the single player is just over three times the length of Portal 1 . Then there's the co-op on top of that. So wait, i...

Re: Portal 2

What I'm saying is that advertisements perpetuate the consumerist attitude of gaining happiness from material possession. Hence, no material possession = no happiness = suffering All this advertising exposure compounds together making the majority of the population unsatisfied with what they alread...

...So I give you this: You have a job, you see a product you want, take the time to save up for it. If you really want it that badly, you'll take the time to save up for it in a reasonable way that won't put you in a hole. But what about all those things you kinda want but have decided it wasn't wo...

Re: Portal 2

Oh, and one more little bonus: those who found every secret "potato" hidden within the Potato Sack games reportedly got a "Golden Potato" award -- and the complete Valve game collection. Including Portal 2. Well, not everyone got screwed, at least. :P However, it seems more like...

Re: Portal 2

Yeah, I understand the issue with it, and that, Zhukov, is why the Steam forums lit up in anger. They realized that this is pretty much all the ARG and everything were about, and at the same time, are only getting Portal 2 five and a half hours earlier than intended (like that's hurting Valve at all...
