Re: the Seven Tasks - a mini campaign
Hey, I can't get through the Desert level. Any hints on which directions to go? It's a bit difficult I know. If you're playing on anything lower than the hardest difficulty you should make ample use of the radar. To start: If you're playing without radar then it's a little more difficult (playing i...

I believe this might be what you were referring to?
It was one of the first forum topics I replied to. I don't believe he is active on the forums anymore.

14 New Challenge Maps
While some of you are struggling up tannim's tower, or toying with the Overgrowath alpha, or perhaps doing something else entirely, and to help pass even more time, here are fourteen challenge maps I've made. At first, I wasn't ever going to make more maps for Lugaru. But, after playing Lotus Wolf's...

Re: Hard Climber
Very interesting. There seem to be multiple paths? since I missed the first and fourth checkpoints. It was okay since I also played it Prince of Persia style, restarting from the last place I fell not the last checkpoint.
Good work.
Good work.

Re: Ancestral Tales Campaign!
A wonderful, wonderful job. I was absolutely wowed and delighted by the building design with the one forest village and the outside of the summer palace. A blast. Glad you made it.

Re: Lugaru: Reluctant Assassin
Well done. It really is amazing that you accomplished this in just three days. I'm impressed. Definitely had some fun; had some frustrating moments too what with fighting eight rabbits at a time, but it all worked out okay.
Excellent job.
Excellent job.

I don't think so. If I did, I don't remember it.

Re: How did you find Wolfire?
I found out about Wolfire when I downloaded "Lighting's Shadow" from macgamefiles.com. That was a fun game (I've probably played it more than Lugaru) and from there I found out about "Black Shades" and a little game called "Sword Fighting"? if I remember correctly; even...

Re: Secret hole in "Rocky Hall" campaign map
There have been some other posts on getting into Rocky Hall through other than the front entrance. The hole you mentioned, you can actually fall all the way through and end up in the back of Rocky Hall.

Re: the Seven Tasks - a mini campaign
What's the deal with giant wishing bunny? In the desert level? There was supposed to be a dialogue with the giant, which explained some of the back story, but every time I added a dialogue it simply wouldn't exist; I even checked with hex edit, it wasn't in the map. If the dialogue had remained you ...

still, it achieved the sense of other things going on in the world, and that was your intention, no? :) Yes, it was. I've always created stories, even since I was little. When I was learning addition and subtraction I would create stories about the numbers to explain why some were adding together a...

Re: the Seven Tasks - a mini campaign
Short answer: no, it isn't a reference to a Chinese Dowager Empress. Slightly longer answer: I wanted the general to be after someone who was important but not necessarily the center of government. Dowager means the queen's or empresses' husband has died and it was he who had hereditary claim to the...

eyeCube, glad you liked it. And yes, the sandstorm and the camp should have been seperate levels, and I only realized that after I posted the zip. And go ahead and PM me your minor complaints as well, if you like; I'm always interested in hearing any feedback. kehaar, you will become worthy... in ti...

Re: eyeCube MapPack
Some interesting levels. Had fun. Except for the super strong rabbits (map 3?) and the giant. Roundhouses and rabbit kicks don't work that well against the super strong ones, since it's easy for them to counter, and one counter usually equals death in that map. But overall, I liked them, including y...
