I just wanted to see what effect a brighter ambient light would make to the scene. Some of the levels seem quite dark for the amount of light coming from the sky.David wrote:The ambient light cubemap is automatically created from the sky -- why do you want a different ambient light color?

How to change ambient light?
Hi,
Is there a way to change the ambient light (i.e. colour of the shadows) in-game? I would like to change the colour, brightness etc.
It seems I can only change the light from the sun and even that's pretty limited.

Error: no config.txt or defaults.txt in Data folder
If you're getting the error "Error: could not find config.txt or defaults.txt in Data folder" then try installing to the default path (C:\Program Files\Wolfire\Overgrowth)!
I failed to run overgrowth.exe when installing to L:\Overgrowth and received that error.

Re: Unofficial alpha 75, weekly build
The exe-installer has a small problem: it doesn't place the Data-folder correctly. When you fire up OG after installing with the exe-installer, you'll get the error message "Error: Could not find config.txt or defaults.txt in Data folder." Solution: navigate to your OG folder, and open up...

:D Hail countryman! mostly play Valve MP games like TF2 and L4D (because I like their service, community support and fairly cheap prices) and a couple of mods. If one was to class the big commerical developers/publishers by level of buntery, EA would be the biggest bunts, and Valve would probably b...

Re: AUSTRALIA DAY!
There are at least three things we do that are rarely featured on Home and Away or Neighbors. Killing British tourists, for example. Stuffing corpses in barrels. Taking credit for other countrys' actors. That sort of thing. Hehe, true. I'm not sure if the dukka and bush spice thing is true. Sounds ...

Actually, after talking about kanga today I ended up cooking it for dinner with... guess what? Dukka and bush spices.Renegade_Turner wrote:No, clearly you don't. It's not on Home And Away or Neighbours, therefore Australians don't do it.
Fancy that.

Hi, they call me Australian Bushman (Bushman or Bushy or short) :D I came across Overgrowth and the Wolfire team on Moddb, attracted by the weapon-wielding animals (they look awesome!). I've since gained respect for their emphasis on good design and efficient technology. To be honest I'm not a huge ...

Kanga tastes great! Very tender meat, like lamb but tastier. We usually have it with dukka or bush spices.Jimmy Jazz wrote: errr... yeah Australia is pretty awesome all tough I've never had kangaroo BBQ before.
what does it taste like?
