Re: Spam problems
I've just nuked several thousand old-growth spammer accounts; this should hopefully curtail the spam problem for the foreseeable future. Please continue to use this topic to alert me to any spammers as they appear; if the problem returns (or if my sending the spammers back to their god en masse does...

Re: Spam problems
There are quite a few free, community-based ban databases our there, for example this one , based on which for example registration requires approval. The problem with DNSBL-type solutions is that they have the tendency to produce a non-trivial number of false positives; this can be quite aggravati...

Re: Spam problems
I guess I will start off my first post in this thread. I don't even see why people would even want to spam that in a gaming forum since most people aren't dumb enough to click on the links. It's all about pagerank and backlinks, generally. Anyone clicking on the links is just gravy as far as the bo...

Re: Purchase Concept Art
There are alot of artists out there that definitely would be satisfied with just having their art seen by others ... In reference to this, any good musician should smile at piracy, as it means people want to hear their music, and their music is getting out there. That's not entirely true. There hav...
