Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a186, weekly build
I'm thoroughly enjoying this build. The challanges as well as serving as a proof of concept are also serving as a nice area to get to grips with the controls, which is exactly what I need after spending more than a year away from here. Great stuff! One bug I am finding though is that when I've been ...

Re: Unofficial alpha 104, weekly build
Yeah, I'm sure. I get an error message saying it can't find r_turner.phxbn, as opposed to any other name, and then crashes.
The outcome of reinstalling after redownloading the installer is exactly the same.

Re: Unofficial alpha 104, weekly build
I haven't actually, no. I'll go do that now. Also, Jeff managed to fix the "working directory not set correctly" problem. It was very strange, but he's sorted that, so nice work on that. :) Edit A reinstall didn't fix the problem. My first guess is an incomplete installer is to blame, so I...

Re: Unofficial alpha 104, weekly build
Hi, When I try to send in Robbert to try playing by pressing 8, I end up with an error which reads "Could not find file: Data/Skeletons/r_turner.phxbn". I've checked, and the file isn't in my install directory. Other people here have been able to do this in this thread, so is this a proble...

Re: Unofficial alpha 103, weekly build
Did you try what I posted in the other thread? You could try making a shortcut to Overgrowth.exe and manually specifying the working directory. You can do this by right-clicking the shortcut and choosing properties, and then setting "start in:" to the directory containing the "Data&q...

Re: Unofficial alpha 103, weekly build
I just tried to take it for a spin, but got the exact same error as this guy . I've checked in the Data folder though, and the two files it refers to are deffinately there. I'm Running Windows 7, so I tried running it as an administrator, with no luck. I didn't install it to the default directory. I...
