Just downloaded 78 as my first Alpha. It keeps freezing when I try to load a map. I can hear the ambient board noise but it never moves past the load screen. Running Windows 7. Don't know too much else about my system. :-( Any suggestions? PS Getting an error msg - Number of Fragmented Texture Unit...

As far as being able to play as different races in a campaign? I think that's also a community thing. Like jo said, the same editor we have is what they are using to make the game. We have 100% freedom to make any race/campaign/mod we want.

There is a very good chance of that. I'm guessing a lot of mission campaigns will be released soon after, but I'm not so sure about total conversions. That'll be decided as we learn more about the scripting engine.
