Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a180, weekly build
arch linux here. i don't know what happened to this a180 but all maps are taking place during night - i only can see shadows. then rabbit sometimes seems to get stuck in midair and the fps is really bad (already lowered details). a179 has been better in this respect.. anyone else could confirm seein...

Re: Overgrowth on Linux status
it's all better with a179. had to rename blood directory to Blood to load the levels that do not segfault. leaking textures is not really enjoyable but i hope this will be fixed soon. i wonder how to make graphics settings persistent - seems they are reset as soon as i hit rabbot and continue playin...

Re: Overgrowth on Linux status
sorry for using the word 'leak' - it seems there is none since the swap usage stops at certain point. anyway testing a178 i either got an error on console or enormous swapping activity which makes the game unplayable. i will test a179 in a bit. regards, jose

Re: Overgrowth on Linux status
hello, i am using nvidia's blob drivers at version 295.53. i will try to temporarily replace gnome3 with some lightweight dm to save some more memory and report back. i also plan to bring some nmon-generated charts showing memory consumption. btw: have you guys been able to download 179 build for li...

Re: Overgrowth on Linux status
i tried the latest alpha on my arch linux 32bit machine. it installed fine, i can run it but there are issues, such as: - huuuge memory leak - apart from overgrowth i am only running gnome3 (ram: 2 gb + 2 gb swap) and system starts to swap really early - levels load really slow - sometimes as much a...
