Doesn't matter too much how long it takes for it to be done seeing as pre-orderers get access to all the Alphas and the Betas when they eventually come out. Game development is a slow process (unless you want to make a crappy game) so just be patient. Try out the weekly alpha if you can't wait.

I wouldn't pay very much at all for that. Definitely not more than the worth of the hard drive and dvd burner (seeing as those are the only two parts that seem salvageable). Don't pay more than $20 (prolly 10 to 12 euros).
Edit: 1 Euro is $1.29 so more like 15 or 16 euros.
