Lotus Wolf's older, incomplete site is still up, but unfortunately it only has the weapons you're also listing if I'm not mistaken.

To 1.: Makes sense to me, but isn't this already implemented? To 2.: I don't know whether this should be done as it's just cosmetic. There aren´t any scripting tutorials or documentation, but learn_more´s AngelScript dumper is very useful.
