I'd say more like three years.

Seven to ten to be integrated into commercial products, though.

Anyfruit. Whatever type of effect David choose to introduce in Lugaru 2, I bet it's going to be better than what we could rant about here. ;P That's a good point. That's the same reason I don't seriously give suggestions for changes to the combat system, because not only does David (and his crew) c...

Ah, I see. I guess it somewhat works to call it a 3rd person FPS - but only in relation to mainstream FPSes (eventually that term will become silly as technology allows all FPSes to use that technique). The only other game I can think of that does this is Breakdown for the Xbox, which was - for thos...

^I assume you base your calling Black Shades a "3rd-person FPS" on the fact that the whole point of the game was to protect the white dude, and you couldn't even die? And, Ham, you mentioned the theoretical spin move as the only non-reversable attack - well, I hate to break it to you, but ...

the reason to do these things would these things would be 1:if there was aiming in L2, it would sometimes give you trade offs (do I hit an unprotected area and reduce risk of reversal, or do go for the neck and try and kill him quickly with a big chance of being reversed?) ... Careful how you phras...

In response to the bob's first original post, and Zantalos's quote in particular, I think you're looking at this from the wrong angle; Zantalos was commenting that the warning signs of low health seemed inaccurate. Why, then, instead of proposing any type of health bar, don't you instead propose tha...

Holy crap, that concept is amazing. Huge props to you guys. Also, I hope that if cities really look like that in-game, you can interact with them properly, and they aren't just objects in the game that your character collides with. Haha I imagine David reading this and thinking "Crap! Crap! Th...

I think the standard set in Lugaru 1 would work fine. I especially like how if you use the console to set your strength way up it actually works and you can whack the other rabbits into a bloody spray.

I hope there are some more crowded cities though, with lots of alleyways and civilians. Honestly, I hope not. Civilians just get in the way, use processor power and remind me of GTA. As for alleyways - I don't mean to simply be contradictory here - but I prefer the idea of more organic, almost East...
