I mean, it's awesome in Gears of War, but it has no place in the Lugaru world.

On Topic:
Amongst my favorite ways to kill are rabbit-kicking enemies into each other and wall-kick finishes. (Style Bonus!)

You can kill him in one move if you jump off a wall to get behind him and perform a backstab.

It's already possible to use slow-motion in Lugaru, you just activate the debug mode and press b.

To activate debug mode, find the config file in the Data folder, and change the 0 under Debug to 1.

Uh, the Phoenix Engine is the engine that powers Lugaru 2. ;P
Anyway, David and Jeff discussed a very cool in-game recorder in a thread a while ago.
So you'll be able to save replays and such.

I think David being awesome is a statement we can all agree with.

That would be a nice mechanic, the enemy might think you've been stabbed and be taken off-guard when you suddenly regain your composure and give him a swift kick to the nuts. Playing dead ("Feign Death") is actually a pretty interesting idea.
Though I think someone have mentioned it already.
It would be cool if you could smear blood from a fallen enemy on yourself to make your trick even more convincing.
