Re: What annoyed you most about lugaru?

Huhm. I don't think I find anything particularly annoying about Lugaru... I guess in the beginning I got my ass kicked a lot, which can occasionally be annoying/frustrating, but once I stopped sucking at the game that wasn't really a problem.

Re: Fan Art

Kick-ass drawing, Ylvali! A Overgrowth: Fallen Earth (Again) mod sounds cool. Adding working shotguns might be a bit tricky, though. Maybe there's no ammo left and all firearms are used as clubs?

Re: Steam Exlusively

Jeff just said they DON'T take 3% I'm sure he understood that, he was pointing out that it seems very unlikely that the percentage is as low as 3, since that doesn't pay off. They are a company. Hosting and publishing stuff for free doesn't really make sense. I like Steam (and I ♥ Valve), but the 1...

Looking for programs to do stuff?
Aren't we all, my friend.
Aren't we all.

Anyway, you could get The Gimp. If you've used photoshop you'll probably know what to do. Configure the brightness/contrast or something.

Re: 8-bit MMO?!

Perhaps a game like that could focus on something other than being an endless grindfest,
and have engaging gameplay.
Like a Massively Multiplayer Platforming Game. That would be swell!

Re: WET, full of plagiarism?

Oh, hey, dudes. People often confuse publishers and developers, it seems. Bethesda is just publishing this game. Maybe no one cares. I sorta care. There's just too much love in me, man. Anyway, I haven't played it yet, but it seems sorta mediocre. Perhaps it is not! Further investigation is needed. ...

Re: Batman Arkham Asylum demo

Yeah, I really liked the demo actually, thought it was a bunch of fun. The game's out now, and is already pretty critically acclaimed. I see some of you mention that it is linear and easy-- well, it's the first 20-30 minutes of the game. Of course it has a somewhat restrictive tutorial before openin...

They haven't mentioned anything like that. Turner is the character that you follow through the story.

I like the idea of poisoning your knife by stabbing it into a toxic plant!

Re: Can't we play Lugaru in multyplayer with hamachi

Hamachi is cool, but it can't magically add multiplayer to a game that does not already have multiplayer...

It's not possible to mod multiplayer into a game like Lugaru.
But have no fear, we can (most likley) play multiplayer in Overgrowth when that comes out.

Re: Ancestral Tales Campaign!

Just completed the campaign; 'twas excellent! Great work. Enjoyed the story and all the different characters. The environments are really well done. Hope you make something sweet for Overgrowth as well! I have a few complaints; a few of the levels were a bit too hard (too many wolves, platforming + ...

Re: Combat Suggestion

You can actually dodge by pressing attack + back, Turner will do a handspring and back away from the enemy. I don't really have the problem you mention, but I can see how it can be annoying. It has happened, but I just revise my tactics. (Use more flips and wallkicks, split the enemies up and deal w...

Re: Sneaking in Overgrowth

I see people mention that stealth in Lugaru is too slow, but you can actually roll silently, which lets you sneak up on enemies very quickly. You can also jump from far away and land behind an enemy and perform a stealth kill if you're a smooth operator. But yeah, some more stealth options and maneu...

Hah, I wasn't aware that the dialouge was uhm, ghetto,
they were just creepy, frisky redneck-types.
But gangstah-style could be tight also, aiiight son? Word up.

Re: An Alternative Dialogue For The Cliff Storyboard

Dialogue Now, this makes the scene more 'natural', I think. It seems to work better with when compressed, as dialogue usally does. Because that is how people usually talk; with less words, not theatrically. Though Overgrowth does take place in a completely different world, so the inhabitants might ...
