Re: Dust, sand, and falling to death.
Yeah, I don't think they would leave out graphics settings just for the fark of it, they want most systems to be able to run it. It's a pretty obvious thing. No offense.

Re: Recommended system
Dude, I think the best course of action here is to simply download the alpha and see what sort of framerate you get when you start filling up a level with objects, and enabling shadows etc. And since you're talking about modding you could try to add all those totally rad models you've made to the en...

Re: What annoyed you most about lugaru?
Huhm. I don't think I find anything particularly annoying about Lugaru... I guess in the beginning I got my ass kicked a lot, which can occasionally be annoying/frustrating, but once I stopped sucking at the game that wasn't really a problem.

Re: Fan Art
Kick-ass drawing, Ylvali! A Overgrowth: Fallen Earth (Again) mod sounds cool. Adding working shotguns might be a bit tricky, though. Maybe there's no ammo left and all firearms are used as clubs?

Re: Steam Exlusively
Jeff just said they DON'T take 3% I'm sure he understood that, he was pointing out that it seems very unlikely that the percentage is as low as 3, since that doesn't pay off. They are a company. Hosting and publishing stuff for free doesn't really make sense. I like Steam (and I ♥ Valve), but the 1...

Looking for programs to do stuff?
Aren't we all, my friend.
Aren't we all.
Anyway, you could get The Gimp. If you've used photoshop you'll probably know what to do. Configure the brightness/contrast or something.

Re: 8-bit MMO?!
Perhaps a game like that could focus on something other than being an endless grindfest,
and have engaging gameplay.
Like a Massively Multiplayer Platforming Game. That would be swell!

Re: WET, full of plagiarism?
Oh, hey, dudes. People often confuse publishers and developers, it seems. Bethesda is just publishing this game. Maybe no one cares. I sorta care. There's just too much love in me, man. Anyway, I haven't played it yet, but it seems sorta mediocre. Perhaps it is not! Further investigation is needed. ...

Re: Batman Arkham Asylum demo
Yeah, I really liked the demo actually, thought it was a bunch of fun. The game's out now, and is already pretty critically acclaimed. I see some of you mention that it is linear and easy-- well, it's the first 20-30 minutes of the game. Of course it has a somewhat restrictive tutorial before openin...

They haven't mentioned anything like that. Turner is the character that you follow through the story.Pyrokwah wrote:And I thought that the dev's would have a few playable rat levels, no?
I like the idea of poisoning your knife by stabbing it into a toxic plant!

Re: Can't we play Lugaru in multyplayer with hamachi
Hamachi is cool, but it can't magically add multiplayer to a game that does not already have multiplayer...
It's not possible to mod multiplayer into a game like Lugaru.
But have no fear, we can (most likley) play multiplayer in Overgrowth when that comes out.

Hm, it runs in a moderately sized window for me. Can you change the resolution in a config perhaps?
