Getting an error:

Can you please list the command? I tried overgrowth on the konsole and it gave me a 'not a command'.

Game installed fine, but when I click on it through 'Application Launcher > Applications > Games > Overgrowth' it doesn't do anything (aside from closing the Application Launcher menu).

(Kubuntu 12.04 64bit & Nvidia 8600 GTS (may upgrade video card soon))
More detailed problem:
When trying to load an item from O2 or Object:
Nav mesh needs update
Baked shadow needs update
Ambient Occlusion needs update.

Overgrowth: Alpha 180 (Linux)

Operating System: Kubuntu 12.04 64bit

Graphics Card: Nvidia 8600 GTS

Result: Everything runs smoothly with the exception of loading items.
It says something about needing an update (I will test again tomorrow for more details).

Jeff is working on rebuilding the installer once more.. (with the main menu enabled this time :-D ) When ever it gets released, feedback I'll be needing is. Installer issues graphical issues in consistencies with windows/mac builds. overall "it won't run on my system" The binaries should ...

Is that under wine or windows?

Can we get an estimation of when the announcement might be posted? I was hoping to do a small sponsor video for "Games on Ubuntu" (I tested myself). Also, the weekly alphas are kind of fancy and teasing.

Guess we will have to wait another week, "Note! No Linux support at the moment -- we are waiting on Ryan Gordon's soonest availability." I guess I will just hop around to keep my mind busy.

I hope this is added in the announcement:

I was thinking about making some videos for this game. The categories included:
-Comedy
-Advertising (no financial benefits for me)
-Possible drama/story telling
