Overgrowth Alpha 207(?), 6/02/14

Four days ago, on the second of July, I received an update for Overgrowth of around 200~ mb. Now when I start the game, the alpha version says "Alpha 207, 6/02/14". I find this odd because we've barely heard anything about a206, let alone a207. I have seen no twitter posts nor forum thread...

Yo caves would be sick, but they'd also be really dark. Not pitch black, mind, but pretty dark. If only we had small light sources like torches. I rolled and got "Floating Civilization". It's like it's mocking me or something, making reference to a map I never finished. I kept promising myself that I would, and now it might be too late, because the last time I touched it was like a year ago, and the map file can't be loaded into OG...

Well, one thing you could do is replace Turner's spawn point with the spawn point of an NPC. Specifically, the character you want to play as (Wolf, Bandit, Guard, etc.). Then delete Turner's original spawn point, select your new desired spawn point, and hit CTRL+P to change the box from white to gre...

Object Movement Scripts?

With a194, scripts can be used to translate/rotate/scale objects. Are there some example scripts available to us that we could use as a template? Where are they hidden in the sea of Overgrowth folders? If there aren't any there, has anyone successfully made one yet?

You sure can (don't know why you would want to though). Just go to the Contact page and use the information on the right to contact John and politely ask for a refund. They'll be happy to oblige, but we may hate you a little bit for some time after.

Makes me wonder if there are any inherent differences to the guns besides ammo count. If there is, I haven't noticed. Seems like the three different guns sort of set a random difficulty for the player: Revolver-hard, 1911-medium, Glock-Easy(ish).

But tazerbots and turrets can't hear. Also, you can't shoot yourself in the foot. There are no feet. It's there for realism. I think it shifts because the way the gun is being held when the safety is switched on indicates that your gun isn't in a proper firing position, which would make sense due to...

Yes, it would be extremely cool. I would hope, though, that you wouldn't be able to throw it while running backwards. Maybe while running forwards, but it would be most accurate standing still and facing your target.
