There are companys (no names) that accept piracy because if people use their stuff in private, they demand it in business. Professionals don't steal software because it's too risky. There's a certain OS that became popular that way. Fishy fishy come here.

Unlikely since OpenAL is a 3D _Audio_ API.

I wonder, then, if David's making countermeasures? Impossible, if you think about something like making Lugaru "non-crackable". And doing something against cracker crews is impossible as well. The guys who crack games are anonymous. The distribution of cracks is not illegal in every count...

Re: additions to the combat system

What do you think would make the combat system better? Broken bones. Pain -> Blur effect. Fear, panic, berserk mode, throwing sand to blind opponents, using opponents when jumping at them to jump again. Different techniques (snake, dragon, phoenix, tiger, mantis stance). Realistic damage, like in B...

Scorched Earth is definitely a clone too; I remember playing power/elevation games a loooong time before Scorched Earth came out. Here is one that I played a lot back when I was three or four, but it could easily be a clone of something else. http://mac.the-underdogs.org/index.php?show=game&id=...

Out of couriosity, has any1 actually beaten house? My best is 6 kills, in 3 or 4 of more than 300 attempts. Even if someone actually has beaten it, that person would have a hard time making others believe him/her, I suppose  Oh, I'm a full-time programmer now and won't find much time to make m...

Mods sticky? As long as I'm here, there was no other sticky thread besides the FAQ thread. :?:

The only reliable way to get rid of wolf packs is to run away from them so that they form a line. Then, perform a leg-cannon or punch a corpse at them. That works in maybe 20% of the cases. The maximum of wolves I managed to kill in a pack is 3. I think killing more at a time is almost impossible. I...

epect a lot more coming from me.. i am working on about 20 new maps I'm looking forward to it. Your previous ones were fun. So many maps in so little time? You don't know how long it took to make 'em. :D Thanks for the positive feedback. I won't stop making maps, it has become a habit somehow. Unfo...

Contact your Dell support. That's what they get paid for. I'm sure they know what's going on and they know what to do. Another forum member had problems with Lugaru because of his ATI driver. You could try to do what fixed it for him: Read this. I don't see any possible conflicts in your Sandra outp...

Re: Game Crashes "ATIOGLLXX.DLL"

Try using the previous ATI driver. ATI drivers tend to be broken when they are released. Plus, ATI seems to have problems with OpenGL often.

Did you, by any chance, update your ATI driver before the game died frequently?
