Re: Fan Art
Looks really good Fidchell! I do remember your name. Overgrowth Weekly will be returning tomorrow Sunday at the usual time ( http://ogweekly.com ). We'll continue to keep an eye on this thread and make collages of the new art every episode. So keep that art coming everyone! Thanks! What would be th...
Re: Fan Art
Hey, everyone. Remember me? I'm that guy that posted all that really weird art from back then. It's been a long time since I last visited this forum...to be honest I got kinda burned out. But recent updates as well as the announcement that the campaign will be a higher priority focus has inspired me...

picture is bit of messy in some parts but i'm happy with the result.

Re: Fan Art
Hey guys! So I haven't done any fan art for a long while. WELL I'M BACK and learned quite a few things along the way.
So, does anyone like mechabunnies?

Opinion on the dialogue ideas.
In an Art Asset overview, Aubrey mentioned he wanted to make the dialogue in a way that a speech bubble is displayed above a character with an image that correlates with what they are communicating with another being. I made this thread so that we can discuss peoples' opinions on this subject. I per...
Re: Fan Art
So I watched this movie recently where I was presented with a very interesting concept. The main baddie had extremely powerful exoskeleton-like armor sewn onto his flesh. I tried to recreate this in evil bunny form. And tonfa-blade things! http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d146/JakeSpringhorn/hectan...

Re: Story Wise
I'm hoping to focus the story more on emotional turning points this time, and less on conspiracies and organizations. I'm not sure how it will turn out, but I think that will be a better direction. This is such great news. Thanks for this post, David. :) Well, there's this for cool stuff: http://wi...

I think that dismemberment will find its way into the game one day.thanger2 wrote:You mean like a backstab or something, it would also be cool if you could cut off limbsFidchell wrote:I think it'd be awesome if a hard hit manages to wind a foe for a while, giving you an opportunity to pull off a lethal finishing move.

Re: Story Wise
Now that I think about it, Lugaru actually has a very good and potential storyline; it's just the WAY IT'S PRESENTED that makes it fall flat. I understand it is an old game and all, but the story and dialogue just seemed very rushed through and not focused on enough. I understand this was probably t...

Re: Fan Art
O NOES! DEY CAPCHA'D TURNER! I like the cat, he's cool. And that fwif of hair is just enough to make me not like him. Gives him that "Yeah, I'd buy you from bounty hunters and use you to earn some serious cash in the arena instead of turning you in," sort of feel. Cool picture and yes, I am going t...

Re: Overgrowth - Random Idea Dumping Thread
I wanna see one where if you're holding a knife and you startle a guard, Turner gets to the guard's front, rams the knife below the bottom of the rib cage and then tilts it up and into the chest cavity. Because the knife isn't quite long enough, he has to shove his hand inside his opponent's body t...
Re: Fan Art
Here's something I've been doing for the past couple days. It's just a little spinoff scenario from my crazy imagination. In a nutshell, a group of bounty hunters manage to ambush and capture Turner and they take him to a greedy cat who uses him as a fighting contestant in the arena to earn some ser...

Yea, it doesn't have to be a cinematic though. Perhaps real-time! Just some neat one-hit special attack that stands out.Kicktar wrote:I think that would slow the game down too much to have a cinematic every time you sneak attack someone, Fidchell.

I'd love to see things like this if you manage to sneak up behind an enemy's back.
