Re: Look at the comments on the Haphead video!

Hey sorry for the lack of response. The questions were really meant to be theoretical, I was just sort of using them as examples. I could find more specific ones that are concerns, but I think I've already made it look like I'm more invested than I really am. I find ethics to be an interesting topic...

Re: Look at the comments on the Haphead video!

Well neither side has much organization, which is probably the root of some of the problem. It's easy to shift blame when where you're shifting it to and from is unclear. It makes it so you can say that the actions of a few belligerents are not representative of your side, or that they are represent...

Re: Look at the comments on the Haphead video!

It troubles me the extent to which people like to turn this kind of stuff into such a black and white issue to the point that they try to discredit people who have a history of being pretty fucking credible (i.e. David). I've been fairly sympathetic to gamergate ideas in the sense that there pretty ...

Nice drawing, but you, uh, do know that rabbits do not have bones in their ears, right? Or long tails? :)

Re: Goats!

Goats kick ass. Especially when wielded by a Dilophosaurus with a purpose. http://ec.cdn.cincopa.com/diloph_goat_nologo.jpg?o=4&id=0&res=1&h=xztjpcrhmi3kpjb05h0hvejbost3433f&cdn=ec&p=y&pid=183993&ph=zghvip4c5wqquatld4hnlgrfvlwjzqjb&d=AsDA7Agt3JAA7guqAA5OqtL&as=mp3

Re: You know what would be cool?

Define "left handed controls"? I fiddle around and change the controls in every game, so I've never thought of it in terms of a specific set of keys for one hand or the other. Do you mean arrow keys vs wasd? Because I prefer to use the arrow keys, but I'm right handed.

Re: Female Characters

In regards to the breast issue, I think something important to note about the anthropomorphic animals is that they're, you know, anthropomorphic . Point being that while we put a lot of focus on the animal aspects, they're physically just as human. Putting breasts on an anthropomorphic rabbit is rea...

Re: Rabbit run cycle

I would like to see a return of the four legged run from Lugaru. I have noticed something a little weird about the run. I see what you mean about the stride on the animal side of things. Though on the human side of things, I think what I notice is the position of the spine. The rabbits run with thei...

Re: What if you can be a kid of some levels

Just scaled down versions of the regular wolves, Korban. It was all part of the vengeance. I'm not quite sure why one would want to be a kid either, but to each their own. I suppose you could have it as a scenerio where the focus is on stealth and evasion instead of fighting. But as stated, the game...

Re: Overgrowth MMO

I did read your idea, shyisc. Several times over. Just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean I'm not listening. I'm sorry, but it's nothing amazingly different that would change the general experience. Largely because it's mostly about NPC social structure that most people will never notice. I...

Re: Overgrowth MMO

I don't know who's attacking anything here, shyisc. But you can't make a sweeping generalization about commercial companies in one paragraph, and then accuse me of making generalizations about games based on the number of players in the next. And I'd appreciate you not telling me what I'm talking ab...

Re: Overgrowth MMO

Well you aren't the first person to think, "Let's make an MMO, but we'll do it different and better". I've yet to see it work, and hence, little faith in the process. Drop off the first M and that might be something I can get on board with, though. Something for just a small group of frien...

Re: Overgrowth MMO

Putting aside technical or resource-oriented impracticalities, I'm still not a fan of the idea. I'll admit, being a veteran of numerous MMOs, I am a bit jaded and "over" the whole genre. I could just say "MMOs ruin everything", but I'll be more specific. :) I understand the outlo...

Re: DISMEMBERMENT!

I can attest to that. When you blast off a limb in SoF2, you see bone shards sticking out and everything. Not the most realistic representation as far as what a firearm will do, but it certainly was gorey.
