Re: [Weapon](WIP) Tonfa
All night and all day. Want me to bake normal maps, btw? Normal maps included in this one! Even baked the grain into them. Although, that one you made for the masamune would be great! I haven't managed to make one that doesn't have backwards faces. Maybe it's the same with the tonfa, I should check...

Re: [Weapon](WIP) Tonfa
Cool. I made a tonfa model a while back, but yours has such a nicer texture. Did you make it procedurally, from a photograph, or some other way? I've never been able to make a convincing wood grain. :( Here's a look at my tonfa texture: http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/574963_10151714...

Re: [Mod] The Mod Mod (May 7)
I haven't played with modloader on minecraft very much... All this mod does is move modders' code outside of the main scripts. There is a main mod script where everyone plugs their mods in, and I plug the main mod script into the updated script each week. That way, multiple people's mods can be turn...

Re: [Mod] The Mod Mod (May 7)
My apologies! I've been a little lazy with new features for the last week or two because of some things outside the OG community - the features I make usually come from ideas when playing, and I simply haven't had the time! That said, I have some ideas for the next alpha update. I'll also start up a...

Re: Community Item Browser?
If it's going into the menu mod, then dropbox need not happen. I'll simply maintain the js file myself if anton can keep up with the objects!

Re: Watership Down Mod
That sounds very interesting! It sounds like an experiment to push the very envelope of current modding capabilities. Since dialogue and narration haven't been worked out yet, it would take a whole lot of creativity! It would certainly be worth creating some tests for each critical feature you'll ne...

Re: Community Item Browser?
This is something that is also "planned" to be included in SUM in some form or another... However, until that happens, it would be great to keep people up to date with modded items. As long as what you add won't break on a weekly basis (such as scripting mods) I'd be happy to keep it up t...

Community Item Browser?
Since the menu mod has weapons and objects included in it if you dig around enough, I'll be including them in their own item tab - the community tab! It will be updated in parallel with the menu mod until its future integration with the SUM mod manager, but for now it will hold all of the community ...

Re: Limit of writing in the speech thingy
I've taken some time to test the box now - and quotation marks as well as line breaks will be cleared as invalid strings. If you're looking for a prompt solution, it would be best to paste what you're trying to write, and people can point out what is invalid. Text can stretch beyond the bounds of it...

Re: Limit of writing in the speech thingy
Your problems come from using the double quotation marks!
If you guys just use two single quotation marks instead, everything will work fine. Try it!

Re: [Mod] The Mod Mod (May 1)
The mod mod has been broken by the update to the new version of angelscript. I'll have a look at resuscitating it, the error appears from my ModInfo class: "There is no copy operator for the type ModInfo available". edit - I fixed it. Here's the mod mod updated for 178. http://code.google...
