Re: The Broadside Express - Continued

I wouldn't mind being able to help either... plus, if everyone worked together on it (perhaps through an SVN?), then we'd probably get a lot more done than if you did it alone. :)

Examples? (on YouTube, perhaps?)

Re: The "Bear Clan" character returns!

Did you dabble with the current rig at all, like delete or add new constraints? Because I think working with what we have right now then anything we do that makes the deformer skeleton to behave correctly should be alright. It does look better though, so thanks for that :) I didn't change any of th...

Ah, that's what I thought... I guess that makes it seem even more likely that my changes to the rig won't work... :|

Re: The "Bear Clan" character returns!

Ok, though I may be doing this all wrong... as I said before, I never really use IKs, just plain rotating bones (some people would probably say I'm crazy doing it that way... :P). The legs still need to have the constraints adjusted a bit and the body probably needs constraints, too. It may be that ...

Re: The "Bear Clan" character returns!

One thing that I always make sure to do with my models that I'm animating is to make absolutely sure to turn off bone envelopes in the armature modifier, 'cause bone envelopes only ever seem to mess things up (usually assigning too many vertices to a bone, so the model starts looking disjointed). Th...

It does...though it may go by too fast for you to see easily (FYI, I know how that kick works, since I've done it :P).

Re: Project Showoff

Here's a little animation I've been working on (for way too long, not making much progress with it :P ) It's not my best, but I thought it was worthy of posting.

Image

Sorry that the image's so big, I couldn't find a way to scale it down on Imgur that would animate.

Re: The "Bear Clan" character returns!

If you posted the blend file, the Blender users on this forum (including me) could take a look at it and see if we could find problems with it.

Btw, very nice model, I can't wait to see it in the game in all its textured glory. :D

Re: Bruising?

Except then what would the enemies do if their arms were broken and they needed to punch? If they just don't attack, then they probably might as well be dead.
