This is actually correct. OG is set some time after the events in Lugaru. The name is to reflect that.

While it would be cool, it would be a feature that would not be of much use on OG due to how fast an how much the player moves around. I'm afraid the detail would be lost on nearly everyone. Now, if they were going to license the engine it would be a good idea to have it as a just in case.
