Re: OGW Q&A with David Rosen

What sort of weather effects do you have planned for Overgrowth? Will the rabbit catcher weapon have custom animations eventually? You mentioned nunchucks, think flails would be possible too? Do amphibians and reptiles live in the Overgrowth world? Thanks!

Ghost of a Tale - New Overgrowth/Redwall-ish RPG

Has anyone else seen this game? It looks amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=sOi04BRQI1k It's definetly got a different style than Overgrowth, but for those who say Overgrowth should be an open-world RPG, I think this would be right up their alley. There's an indiegogo ...

Re: Kaiju Combat - another awesome game on kickstarter

Think Rampage ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rampage_%28video_game%29 ) mixed with your traditional fighting game ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fighting_game ). It would be 1v1, or 2v2 (I actually think they've announced 3v1 game modes as well), where each player controls a giant monster that has t...

Kaiju Combat - another awesome game on kickstarter

So there's 10 days left on the kickstarter for Kaiju Combat (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/14214732/kaiju-combat-giant-monsters-awesome-fighting-onlin), and it's getting pretty close to being funded. It's a giant monster online fighting game. Originally intended to just be a sequel to the Godz...

Re: Fuck This Jam

Here's Riot's entry so far, a "first person golf-em-up" game.

I've always like the mechanic of any golfing game I've played, really I can't think of a bad one. So I'll be interested to see what exactly he does different with this one.

Re: Wolfire looking at doing another Game Jam?

Here is the most recent build that David has linked in the chat: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3236655/FTJ/18%28board%29/WebPlayer/WebPlayer.html http://i.imgur.com/5Y31n.jpg Other players can now pick up the dice, and you can pick up 2 at a time. The game is really coming along! Great work David and Aubr...

Re: Fuck This Jam

Haha, nice coverage! :D http://crystalcrashers.com/ Ha! That's hilarious. Nice satisfying "pop" noise, lol. I haven't played many games like this (can't even put my finger on the genre), but I would imagine it certainly points out what's wrong/annoying with most of them; Win for only a nominal fee!
