Re: Female Characters

Thread necromancy isn't a bad thing if it's a decent subject for discussion imo. As someone pointed out earlier, the design philosophy in female charr for guild wars two is a great example of how to easily differentiate gender without resorting to huge knockers to do it, though it may require a degr...

Re: Wolves smell, rabbits hear, and buddy, I hurt people....

@sam My biggest problem though is the complexity some of these and the additional elements may require. I imagine vision could be done simply enough, but sound and scent, especially if you want to involve the terrain and elements, are complex to a degree that I don't think is even being done in any ...

Endoperez wrote:Those weren't all Pathfinder tengu. In fact, the pathfinder Tengu are the ones that fit your concept of wingless the closest.

Which one do you think is the closest fit?
The first one linked was the closest to the concept, I assume that is the pathfinder tengu?

Re: The Ravenlords

That sounds like it'd be scripting or coding. That's certainly part of Overgrowth modding too, and understanding the logic behind it should transfer pretty well even if the scripting commands were different. Paizo's Pathfinder RPG system seems to have a ravenfolk race called Tengu. Their arms aren'...

Wolves smell, rabbits hear, and buddy, I hurt people....

Just a thought in the event we should ever get to play as races other than rabbits officially; How to represent the senses. Sound would be the easiest to portray by simply allowing a player to hear a creature moving about and whatnot from a greater distance than with others, though this might not wo...

Re: The Ravenlords

I'm definitely going to pre-order once we get some of that probable co-op support for the game, presuming it's not already in. But I'm certainly no artist, so making the ravenlords would be quite a feat! I do plan on getting a bit more familiar with modding though come the release of the skyrim crea...

Re: The Ravenlords

Not bad, but they seem to have slightly too many conflicting features. They exist but no one knows about them but everyone knows they're just stories but they are still interesting enough to write all this stuff about and so on. It might be better to say that they are known to have existed once, bu...

The Ravenlords

There are legends of a race lost to the known world, though few know them and even less speak them aloud. Lest they be branded a fanciful storyteller at best or a raving lunatic at worst. The legend speaks of them as the first race upon the land to master both hugin (thought) and munin (memory), cre...
