Re: A stupid idea, but it might be worth a try

Speaking of unconsciousness, it would be interesting to have an extension to AI behavior that allows them to do things to you while you are unconscious. Like finishing you off for good or moving your body. For example, a level that is made in such a way that the bots should knock you unconscious, dr...

Re: A stupid idea, but it might be worth a try

I'd be really interested in some sort of highly dynamic health system. At this stage, overgrowth only really provides damage feedback in three ways, the number of times you hear a crunch, the amount of blood you have on you, and clutching at yourself. It would be nice to have the character's movemen...

Re: Desperate Gods Mods/Alterations/Suggestions Thread

A way to scroll through servers or games. Seriously, you can only look at one page as far as I can tell. A friend couldn't even find mine. Peer 2 Peer support would be great. An update has quietly been made that now has a scroll bar. I got very frustrated when I tried to play with a friend until I ...

Re: Desperate Gods Mods/Alterations/Suggestions Thread

Shuffling would also be much appreciated. You can shuffle by shaking a deck. I'm really enjoying the game, but a few things are confusing and difficult. First of all, the rules state that you should place cards on the bottom of their decks, which is very tedious with the current controls. Also, the...

Your videos are wonderful, thank you for creating and uploading. Your reasonable approach on these (sometimes controversial) subjects is great, and I'm so glad that you try to be unbiased while still admitting that you have some bias. Also the rate at which you put out new content is astonishing.

Re: Sui generis melts your eyes to pummely dust

Oh my this looks wonderful. Looks like everyone thinks the animations look silly. The dev mentioned that they are using physics based muscle control on the characters, which is very hard to get quite right. The AI and player characters honestly look like blundering fools with hardly enough balance t...

Re: Getting traced in the internet (please read I need help)

I enjoyed adwuga's story so much that I decided to share my own. A couple months ago I very nearly got in serious trouble for decrypting the passwords to every computer on my school system's network. The only reason I did it was because I needed administrative rights to fix a computer at my internsh...

Hundreds of minecraft mods available that add guns to the game, yet it still wasn't enough for people.

Wow! Worked like a charm! Thanks so much!

Re: Receiver for mac won't start

I'm having the very same issue here. Its been happening to several of the programs I download. I'm on Snow Leopard, and I think the issue may be because programs are now being made for Lion? On some Java run applications, such as the SUM Launcher, I can solve the problem by opening the Jar file. I f...

Re: Huge slowdowns with ragdoll?

The ragdoll mechanics seem to slow my computer down the most out of almost everything. Dragging around a body drops my framerate even lower. Remember that the game is still in alpha and major improvements with the mechanics can still be made.

I couldn't find it either when I tried file searching for it a while ago. The Sumlauncher has a god GUI for it, though, so consider using that! :)

Re: Describe Overgrowth in one word

It takes a lot more to describe overgrowth, a lot more than almost any other game I can think of off the top of my head.

Gameplay mechanics-wise for the general feel of the game I would have to go with Intense.

Re: [Character] The "Bear Clan" character returns!

I just fooled around with existing animations and pushed the limit of what they were capable of doing by tweaking the attack .xml files. Those custom animations look really great. I'm interested in working with these myself. Could you, perhaps, give us some pointers on which factors to look at whil...

Re: Download Receiver for free! (7-day FPS game)

Darn, I bought the game before I realized that I could get it free with my Overgrowth purchase. Is there anything I should do or should I just be happy that I supported Wolfire?
