Re: WHY DESPERATE GODS IS AMAZING.

I'd love to see a version of Munchkin ported into the setting. I think it would work perfectly. The one thing missing right now though for card games is to be able to have a private "hand" that you can draw from. I think with a little tweaking (and the card editor that David made) prototyping any t...

Re: Possible Additions for Next Receiver Build

One tiny thing this could really do with (at least, was missing from RC 5 - haven't played with 6 yet) is to have the muzzle flash actually light up surroundings.

This was especially noticeable without a flashlight, presumably it's less relevant now, but it'd still be a nice touch.

Re: Receiver Cheat

The code just enables the slowmo button, as far as I'm aware.

You did type in said code and then hit the key, right, not just expect the code to start slow motion?

Though I might be wrong about all that, I haven't seen a need for it, so I've not tried.

Re: Receiver unplayable on an azerty keyboard

The game help overlay is hard-coded to display the default keys. That's nothing to do with your keyboard, it's just that that part of the game hasn't been implemented (yet?) I don't know if it ever will be, Unity doesn't seem especially pleasant for querying the actual key your virtual axes are boun...

Re: No Inverted Mouse Look ?!

Really? After I just went through all that effort to tell people how to hack it together (horribly) in their own local build from source?

I say that, I'm still delighted it's in the official version, it's an infinitely better solution than anyone listening to me about anything xD

Re: Invert mouse? (Receiver)

Scratch all that - just get the latest version, it's now included :-) To clarify (since I think I am said "one member") it's easy enough to do in your own game, sure. What's hard is making it toggle-able. And yes, that failing is entirely with Unity's default Input Manager. All that lovely key bindi...

Re: Can we please get a version of Receiver with mouse inver

Okay, so after cloning the git repository and firing up Unity (like I said, non-inverse mouse is a *really* serious problem to people who are used to it) I have come to realise how this isn't as simple as it should be. Or could be, if Unity weren't quite so silly ... I mean, why can't the invert fla...

Re: Can we please get a version of Receiver with mouse inver

Just noticed this in David's ToDo list so I for one am happy to stop nagging about it.

Knowing it's known and intended to be worked on will definitely do for the now.

Can we please get a version of Receiver with mouse inversion

I know it's been said once or twice in the Receiver thread, but I'm guessing that nobody's reading that, or at least they aren't scouring it for things to put into the game. So can we please, please have this option? To a good number of people, uninverted mouse controls are completely unplayable, an...
