In response to my problem regarding downloading, I just downloaded the latest alpha without a hitch after reinstalling the game as I mentioned I'd do previously. The download started at speeds around 700KB/s and dropped to around 100KB/s mid-way, but other than that the download was fine. Lets hope ...

As Djemps noted, it wasn't a bashing at all, it was quite constructive.

The early preorderers/regulars are taking their pseudo-authority too seriously. Just because you have been here longer and wont cop flak from other members because you've built up bonds, doesn't entitle you to being a douche and start a train of shit flinging. It makes you look worse.

I've shown a few friends and I've had some play on my PC, PvP is enjoyable . I'm not the kind of person to condemn somebody for pirating, but I definitely don't exactly endorse it.

I loaded it up again and it didn't come after me like it did the first time, so that is good new. The luring most likely isn't going to be a level breaker and most people probably wont do it. I'm not familiar with the level editor, but if you can set a hotspot ending rather than 'kill all the enemie...

Edit in: Just tried 0.7 and the white rabbit rushes you at the start for some reason . And I can still lure the other NPC's down.

I've found that by jumping up and down the walls of the towers with NPC's on them will drag the NPC off and down to you - essentially bypassing all the obstacles. (tested only on 'hard' ver. 0.5 from SUMLauncher)

@Aaron, considering the clean boot I did it is very doubtful that there is any new or old programs interfering; at least to my knowledge... If the issue has a link to registry files it would still persist, I think, but before I dive into my registry I'm going to re-download and install Overgrowth an...

I'm experiencing the same problem, and it's taking me forever to update because I have to keep clicking yes to retry.

I can do the same as Retep, but with 60mb in the latest alpha and the fluctuating/slow speeds and pauses it's going to take awhile...

I've been having an previously mentioned issue "Error: Server Connection Lost" and I'm not using AVG. I've tried disabling my anti-virus - even a clean boot - and the problem still persists. Any ideas?

Edit: I should probably also mention that this only started happening with a176.

I completely and whole heartedly trust that the Wolfire team would not destroy a diamond in the rough. That said, not all of these ideas would be implemented; as they're not fit for the game. We've already seen the implementation of local multiplayer, and it has proven to be a nice enough addition. ...

You have to understand that this could potentially alienate ideas that could also benefit OG, simply because no body saw the thread or didn't care for it.

Society may know what they like within a game, but as a majority, they don't know what's good for one.
