I'm assuming that you bought the game through the Humble Bundle store, which is why you aren't linked up right to access the secret forum.
That would be the major issue, because the answers you seek are probably in that forum, and are best discussed there.

Plus, $30 buys you the finished game, not the alphas. And goes for more coffee to support that effort. So you can get into playing it now or later, for the same cost.

It's worth the money to go ahead and preorder, so you can support further development and get a good version of the alpha as well as community help.

People who have this gift are amazing. I'm too technical, if anything I stick to ray tracing. I could never start from a gray featureless void like you did and have anything come from it. Good job, and keep them coming.
