Re: OGW Birthdays 4 - Johannes!

I finished the GDC arena structure, but I wasn't sure on colours for the inner parts, so that needs to be replaced ^_^

I ended up with problems again after upgrading to 188 :(

It seems that I'm getting segfaults again when launching levels too.

Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a187, weekly build

Not sure if this will be helpful to other Linux users, but I was getting a segfault when starting levels. I was able to work around this by renaming ~/.local/share/Overgrowth

I guess there was something in the old cache that the new version of Overgrowth didn't like?

Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a186, weekly build

I feel bad. 99% of the textures in my textures folder are DDS's. Every texture Overgrowth asks for is a .TGA. I dun wanna convert every single texture in the game one by one, is there a way around this? D: Read the post immediately before yours. It fixes the problem. Out of interest, is there a fix...

Happy belated birthday, Silverfish. Sadly I wasn't able to be involved with this. I hope you enjoyed it though :D

I'll take a look and see if I can get it running under Wine when I'm done with touching up our 7DFPS game :)

Re: How did you find out about Overgrowth?

I found out about Overgrowth following the original Humble Indie Bundle, but I'd been holding off on pre-ordering until there was a Linux alpha available :)

Awesome work guys <3

Re: Portal 2 maps

Ah yes, I hadn't commented on your maps, had I? Jump test and Timing were both pretty quickly solved, and were each vaguely enjoyable in their own way. Thanks :) Neither are meant to be particularly difficult - just explorations of gameplay and the new editor. Tedium, however, was quite brilliant, ...

Re: Portal 2 maps

Oops. I'd sort of been avoiding this thread until I had time to check out some other people's maps and update my own, but since I haven't, I figured I should respond to Freshbite's feedback <3 I've published three maps so far. Jump Test (this was my first map. Some of the jump trajectories are too c...

Re: Portal 2 maps

Yay, more maps to check out :D I've published three maps so far. Jump Test (this was my first map. Some of the jump trajectories are too close to the ceiling here at the moment - you're not meant to be able to die until you're on the light bridge) Timing (this is the one I'm most happy with) Tedium ...
