Re: My new project has Receiver-like reloading
Here's an update on my progress with this game, I've added pistols and knives. I've also added various AI enemies, mining, base building, various vehicles etc. You asked what the focus of the game is, that's something I'm still trying to nail down. Right now I think the games focus is mostly on surv...

Re: My Receiver clone (uses mouse gestures)
Will you be working on this? perhaps turn it into something like a multiplayer game? This would be more fit for a Multiplayer FPS than Receiver. I have started working on a multiplayer game with proceedural reloading yes. However I will not be using the mouse gestures as controls. After exploring m...

My new project has Receiver-like reloading
I've been working on a new unity game for about 6months now.
One of the design elements I really wanted it to have was procedural weapon handling.
So far I've only set things up for one of the weapons, a bolt-action rifle.

Re: Receiver Oculus + Hydra Mod
Hey,
I really dig this
I think I saw your other work on the IGDA page, where you killed UT3 bots with a deagle or something?
Anyway, This looks a lot more exciting.
Have you seen the new hydra type trackers, called STEM?
Pretty exciting I think

Re: [IDEA] Realistic Trigger Pull
I actually had this exact same idea recently, when I was first learning how to fire a pistol that recoil anticipation thing was causing me to be pretty inaccurate until i figured out what I was doing. The way I would do it is have the gun tilt downwards at the same rate you roll the mousewheel, so t...

My Receiver clone (uses mouse gestures)
Hey guys, I was so inspired after playing Receiver that I made my own handgun simulator thing, check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QqKK3FRyY8 You can play it here; It uses mouse gestures instead of hotkeys to do things, just press R to go in and our of 'handling mode' https://dl.dropboxuser...
