Re: When will Overgrowth 1.1 arrive at Humble?
You have my sympathies for the trouble over the holidays. I wish you success as soon as posssible, and I'll test any build that appears here or on Humble. I'll be travelling for the next few days, but I'll have my hybrid gpu laptop with me, and hopefully fast enough internet, too. P.S.: And thanks f...

Re: When will Overgrowth 1.1 arrive at Humble?
Thanks for the update. I understand that you don't want to upload a buggy version to Humble (although your link suggests that you left this version on Steam). How about putting the current version here on the forums so that at least the registered preorderers can test it if they want? It may give yo...

Re: When will Overgrowth 1.1 arrive at Humble?
Thanks for the reply. I can understand that you'll want to feed the bigger fish in the pond first, as long as we little fish don't get forgotten. It would be nice if you'd note such things in your announcements so that we don't have to check it (unsuccessfully) for ourselves. Happy holidays and than...

When will Overgrowth 1.1 arrive at Humble?
Hello,
Overgrowth 1.1 isn't in my Humble library yet. When will it arrive?
edit: I mean the Linux version.
Best regards
Vangrew

Re: Where can I get the Beta 6 from?
Thanks for the quick reply. Alas, I don't use Steam because I like neither DRM nor market-dominating companies. So I hope the B6 download for Linux will arrive soon, B5 only took one day after all.

Hello,
where can I get the Beta 6 from? The version in my Humble account says "09/07/2017' and the filename is "overgrowth-b5.2_build-4403.linux64.zip".
Cheers

SSL please
Dear Wolfire folks,
it's 2017, please implement a secure login. Although I use different credentials on every site, I don't want my account here hacked because my credentials are being sent unencrypted through the net every time I log in.
Best regards,
Vangrew

Re: Overgrowth Linux problems and their solutions/workaround
Hi, I'm trying to get OG working on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS - and fail hard up 'til now ;). Out of all my tries to load a map each and every attempt ends in a segfault. Same here. I tried the update linked now in the opening post, copying the Data folder into mine and the binary files into the main Overgr...

Re: Overgrowth Linux problems and their solutions/workaround
I just downloaded the latest version (a201) and installed it, I installed the packages mentioned on the wiki page and now, if I try to execute the binary, nothing happens. No terminal output no nothing, it just returns instantly. Did you read the opening post? The binaries are missing in a201, you ...

Re: Bug reporting station
The last release a201 doesn't work on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64 Bit. The installer installs no files into the specified binaries folder, and in the data folder there's only one executable file OvergrowthWorker.bin.x86_64 which apparently does nothing when started. Ah, there's a thread about it: http://fo...

Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a201 build
The linux installer doesn't have the binaries in it? The only one in there is OvergrowthWorker.bin.x86_64. I have the same problem. I wrote about it in detail here: http://forums.wolfire.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=7162&p=198487#p198471 edit: There's a thread about it: http://forums.wolfire.co...

Re: Bug reporting station
Hello everybody, I am slightly confused. Should I report Overgrowth crashing on my Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64 Bit system here like so many others do and/or send my error report to bugs@wolfire.com? O. crashes every time when or after loading any level after the message "Adding loaded objects to the sc...
