Oh, also, I'm looking to start modding the client and could really use a decent set of dice and cards. (Dice of all shapes would be nice!) Coins, pawns (player pieces), and little army men would also be nice.

The basic version of Git is simply a command line client. I haven't used github's downloadable client, but http://mac.github.com/ says that after you install it, you can simply click 'clone in mac' on the website and it'll start downloading on your github client.

Djemps, Unity is free to download from unity3d.com and github just uses Git, which is also free. Github itself should have info on checking out a project locally.

Desperate Gods - Infinite?
Has any thought been given to possibly creating a version of Desperate Gods that will load the assets externally? I'm thinking a manifest file and PNGs that are hosted on a website, and then players can enter that URL into the game to load the assets. The manifest would also include the initial boar...
