I know it's alpha, but I'm not sure that each update should be doing the opposite of optimizing?

I don't know if this a bug or a hardware issue, so I'll just post this here. I love overgrowth, I have since the moment I saw it. But it is INSANELY taxing on my computer. I can run the new tomb raider game on high to ultra settings with a few dips here and there, but overgrowth lags with -2 bunnies...

It seems like development has slowed down a lot recently on overgrowth.

Any words of encouragement? I'm worried! I love this game, and I really wanna see it through to completion!

Not entirely sure how to post a bug, and its not really a bug, but probably some kind of coding thats really heavy on the processor, but when there is any amount of blood, it lags really badly, if theres a lot, the fps can drop down to even around 1, also, grass does the same in large quantities.

Not to wear out an old topic, but would the lag problem be helped at all by making the multiplayer matches LAN rather than fully online? Also, I would love to see splitscreen modes implemented further. Playing side-by-side with people you know is far more fun (in my opinion) than playing with rando...

it is OP, i think the CPUs should be able to counter it somehow, but it is pretty awesome when you jump off of one enemy's face onto a another xD

Everything (other than the story based missions and team deathmatch since it's only 2P) that you suggested is already in the game, or can easily be put in via the editor. You just need to plug a controller into your computer for second player. We may or may not get online multiplayer down the road,...

I think that a very large part of any type of audience when looking for a new game is especially sold if a game has some type of multiplayer, competitive or cooperative, there should maybe be like vs. modes with different maps with weapons to find, then maybe game types with, only weapons, no weapon...
