Re: Lowlight Combat Giveaway Contest
I could use an extra copy to give to my friend. I apply for inclusion in the giveaway.

Ubuntu n00b needs help opening Low Light Combat
So I downloaded the Low Light Combat files from Humblebundle, but when I try to open the executable, it does nothing. I looked into using apt-get, but that doesn't seem to apply because it isn't really a package. Am I missing something?

Re: LLC suggestions (too early?)
While the geiger counter would be fun, we already have the timer beeps from other ninjas to guide us-- when they hit 20 seconds, you'll hear them. Since we ARE ninjas, though, I would love to see the jump-and-run sort of play that is so fun in Overgrowth be a little more present in LLC. Wall runs an...

Re: Basic Receiver mod/updates
I love this! It looks great, I hope this is included in the next update!
I like having a backup flashlight, just in case the batteries in the first one die unexpectedly, but being able to drop lights would be great!
I hope David and Aubrey will see/use this.

Re: Receiver: How do I reset the controls back to defaults?
Regedit? Sorry, but thats low tier. Really? You're so disgusted by my pitiful sense of accomplishment that you had to try to humiliate me? Or did you just want my awe and respect for your (implied) superior knowledge and skill? Tell you what, let's trade: You teach me the "high tier" way to edit my...

Re: Possible Additions for Next Receiver Build
New suggestion: Multiple Game Types Classic Mode: RC1 style Receiver with 1911 only, no torch, no new features. Pet Bunny Mode: Bullets and Tapes spawn more frequently and killdrones are slow and sluggish. Normal Mode: All features intact. Impossible Mode: No guns, bullets, torches or equipment of ...

Re: Possible Additions for Next Receiver Build
Maybe it is too soon to think about this, but I would love to see the rest of the population's reaction to pre-mindkill receivers. Would they be frightened of receivers, or treat them like they were crazy? During the mindkill, when the dreaming is occurring, would people beg for your help? Would the...

Re: Receiver community multiplayer mod
I agree with Korban: co-op could be a better way to go, given the context and story. One game that does co-op in a way that receiver might work well with is Journey. I love the limited nature of the multiplayer aspect of that game. Receiver has a similarly ominous, mysterious quality to it that migh...

Re: Overgrowth Multiplayer discussion
New players making mistakes isn't really a problem, almost all game modes have some assemblance of a learning curve no matter what game you're looking at. Good games are better at teaching the players though. This is a problem that makes the game mode worse than it could be. Still, this idea is a b...

Re: obligatory introduction thread
Hi everyone. I'm Beef Pop. I am 20 and live in Portland, Oregon. I saw Overgrowth the other day on NerdCubed's youtube, and I was immediately intrigued. Then I read the comic, and was amazed by how much storytelling potential this game could have. I currently don't have a computer that will run the ...
