My brother's joined the team, but he's going to be working full time that week. If anyone wants to join us, just message me, preferrably on irc.

7DFPS 2013 - any takers?

Just announced, I'm psyched to be able to be a part of it this time.
Are there any coders here that wanna team up with an artists? I can't handle the whole code side of things on my own, but I can do 2d/3d whatever we decide to make.

Re: SCARY GAMES!!!
I completely removed slender and the installed after my first time playing. There's a reason there's so many cute-slenderman images, and slenderman jokes out there: people need to become desensitized.
I also kept seeing him while trying to sleep.. didn't help.

Atom, nice gif. we need more receiver gifs.
If there's nothing else i've gotten good at in Receiver, i've gotten good at running away from hoverers.

Re: Desperate Gods
I thoroughly enjoyed it. I played it locally with a friend of mine, who loved how much control you have as a user, as opposed to "every other board game game ever". Right click could be used, perhaps for flip card. Other mouse controls would be nice. It's hard to pass mouse And keyboard around for l...

Re: Receiver Linux support (wine) - no mouse
Thanks krogan, I was wondering if I needed mouse drivers or something (logitech special gaming mouse). For me, it's not urgent, I'm dual-booting with windows xp.
and Korban, thanks for the info. I'll be happy when that comes out.

Receiver Linux support (wine) - no mouse
I can successfully run receiver fine in ubuntu 10.04 in wine, fullscreen or otherwise, but i have no mouse control in-game. (the in-game menu cursor works fine) Though it sure is a challenge to play without ever aiming from the one spot you start with, I'd like to figure out why this is happening, a...

Re: Receiver Stories - share them here
One time, early on in my Receiver training, I was trying to figure out the slide and reload stuff and ended out emptying my clip on the floor several times. Then I realized my brother was watching the whole time. Way to make me feel stupid. But it's all worth it for that incredibly epic feeling you ...

Re: Receiver Stories - share them here
I agree. It's easy to ragequit sometimes. But I keep going back. I shot a turret in the motor, through the one doorframe I could get through. It was pointing right at me. No way out. Another time I found a room full of 4 hoverers in my way; I somehow managed to shoot them all down while keeping my h...
