Indoctrination via Repeated Listenings: Success.
My son loves watching Thomas the train. Ergo, I've watched a lot of Thomas the train. I got a better idea of just how much while playing Receiver. Every time I pick up the tape that has the line, " ... so far has caused widespread sickness and mental weakness, " my brain expects to hear &q...

Receiver performance - what works, what doesn't
Given how many people are frustrated with Receiver's excessive demands on even some "high-performance" computers, I'm curious what kind of hardware it DOES prefer... or (alternatively) just runs into the ground. List your GFX card, RAM, CPU, OS, and in-game resolution and detail level with...

Re: Possible Additions for Next Receiver Build
In terms of combat, the only essential differences between Receiver's current guns are the sight picture and the number of times you can fire before reloading * . So unless the next update makes bullet caliber (inertia) a factor in scoring instant kills for non-vital shots, most of the suggested wea...

Wait... you're THAT Anton? I LOVE that music! It's been stuck in my head since I bought the game last week. Come to think of it, 1700+ posts did seem like an awful lot for the average Joe Forumposter.

Re: Receiver: slow motion not working
This is incorrect, and "tab" works fine on my Mac. This is entirely possible. I'm dangerously ignorant on a fantastic number of subjects. Your suggestion that amuddypizza makes sure to run RC6 was more informed and more helpful. Still, you can't deny that my post had a WAY better descript...

Re: Receiver: slow motion not working
Weird. The only thing I can see that's wrong with your setup is that you're playing on a Mac. I'm trolling a bit, but I'm partially serious as well. I believe the Mac key code for "Tab" is different than PCs, as is the overall process of detecting keys . In modifying code to work on...

Re: Multiplayer Implementation is happening.
I think it should be more COOP because a receiver killing a receiver is against the story kinda. :/ I thought that was what he was adding? I would not enjoy a PvP Receiver multiplayer :| He hasn't said anything specific about who you're supposed to shoot in multiplayer, only that there's shooting i...

Re: Receiver: How do I reset the controls back to defaults?
Regedit? Sorry, but thats low tier. Really? You're so disgusted by my pitiful sense of accomplishment that you had to try to humiliate me? Or did you just want my awe and respect for your (implied) superior knowledge and skill? Tell you what, let's trade: You teach me the "high tier" way ...

Re: Receiver Experience/Problem
sink is too high I wasn't going to say anything, but I noticed that too! maybe devs should allow that other people create room assets which can later be included in updates, so that at least we have new rooms to play in. How does that sound? There's an invitation to modders with a link to the...

Re: 1911 thumb safety - dead giveaway
Argue why it's better left alone other than with "it's good as it is". Here's my take as someone who owns a 1911 and has law enforcement tactical firearms training: When I'm target shooting, the safety's ALWAYS on until I've started to aim, so I'm ALWAYS mentally aware of its state withou...

Re: Receiver: How do I reset the controls back to defaults?
Cool! I had the same question, and sure enough my custom key bindings WERE in the registry. I always feel like such a BA when I fire up regedit.
