Overgrowth marketing
I realize that marketing the game is probably at a very low priority right now, so take this more as "public relations" then. I don't usually read youtube comments, but this one I found on the latest alpha video is worth considering: Please, please tell me what this game is supposed to be ...

Re: [Auto Updater] SUMLauncher - 3.0.8
the first post says "we can try giving you an executable that has an embedded Java runtime environment"
Would this be too much of a hassle for the SUM devs? I mean I could install java, no problem, it's just that I don't really use it for anything else, so I'd prefer the above option.
thanks

Re: Lookie here, MTG Fans!
i'm not familiar with this card game thingy, but i think it would be great to mod some OG-themed cards and stuff into Desperate Gods.

so I've played a lot of receiver on this machine before and never had any big problems. Now my motherboard is different, but everything else is the same. Now there is this random occasion when after playing for a while, the game just completely freezes and nothing helps it. I can still hear the musi...

Re: Informative (Gaming) Discussion 2: Publisher vs. Develop
what good does it do to disallow anyone else from doing so? It's not this, exactly. It's 'does allowing others to do something with this help the publisher in any way?' And the answer is no. I get that. But does doing something that doesn't help you in any way but doesn't cost you any more money hu...

Re: Informative (Gaming) Discussion 2: Publisher vs. Develop
Also, yes, publishers can leave if a project isn't looking good. The developer still gets compensation for the development, but the game never gets finished or released. In fact, in an extreme case, a publisher may decide that the finished game won't sell so it's not released. A finished game. Beca...

Re: No one will answer this question
I think the games that don't need multiplayer are among the ones that are built to be a strong single-player experience, most likely with a story arc that the player goes through, and possibly some of the main game mechanics are also focused on this experience, so it wouldn't be feasible to use them...
