Heh...technically Duke Nuken 3d did actually have a pretty realistic pistol....while you were given an ammo pool you had to keep track of how many rounds were in a mag and you couldn't just endlessly keep topping off your mag you had to spend all the rounds first which added a layer of hardcore to i...

maybe there are errors....but for us mortals who live in crap states where shooting irl requires way too much bs this is still very impressive.

Is it really that unrealistic to pick up unspent casings from the revolver? I wouldn't know personally....the only thing I could think is that maybe they'd be hot and as such you wouldn't wanna touch them again immediately afterwards?

Mine really was quite simple.....I was standing on a ledge scoping out one of the two outside areas when suddenly and inexplicably my character decides to dash off the ledge without reason to his death....ohhh the rage. I can only assume if you use sprint too much sometimes it gets buggy *sigh* Then...

an ar would make the game easier.....keep it to pistols to retain the tension of gameplay but some new pistols with slightly different mechanics would be interesting.

it's likely on your end....i play the game flawlessly all the time save for the framerate chugging in certain areas.

I still haven't figured out the sprint key for this game.....it doesn't even show up in the list of button commands when I first load up receiver.....such an elusive feature that would save my keyster more often then not lol.

I'd suggest a fresh reinstall along with updating all appropriate drivers firstly...assuming this isn't already something you've done. Otherwise...someone more knowledgeable with the game probably will need to lend ya a hand as I just play it lol.

Usually it's the revolver that gives me boat loads of rounds....the tradeoff of course being it's far less manageable to reload in a hectic situation versus simply dumping your empty mag for a new one with either the other pistols.

I always shoot the green box on the turrents.....they never fire back after that. However, it can be dangerous to leave them there with their "beeping" going on as your backpedaling from a hostile situation in another room. Caused me to fall to my death once.

Don't have any advice myself...but I too have noticed that after a bit of time has passed in game, my framerate starts decreasing. I just haven't seen the true full extent of this because usually I don't live long enough to get past a few tapes lol.
