Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Feb. 15th
AR-15s are the weapon people want to get when they haven't used one extensively. I hate the AR15 platform. It's dirty, prone to jamming, not a bullpup, and the little compartment on the back of the stock is the biggest bitch to open up. So I'm working on a FS2000 model in my spare time for Josh. A ...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Feb. 15th
A quick request for a feature which you might not be able to put in. If you have no magazines due to dropping every last one, would you able to make it so you lock back the slide, insert a single round then release the slide, ready to shoot? In order to do that, one would have to implement the relo...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Feb. 15th
I love this mod! One suggestion... any possibility we could get a menu option to let us select the gun model used for each gun? I know that sounds ridiculous, but I thought the previous Thompson model was much more fitting for the game's art style, and I'd prefer to use that one if possible. (Also,...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Feb. 15th
Loving the new additions.
I also notice that shock drones are particullary stronger now and that the shotgun is slightly less powerful. The USP Compact, while its model is a little rough around the edges, it fun to use and I can really notice the delay when firing in double action.

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
The Beretta M9. Nice! If implemented, it would be the first double-action pistol for the game. If it will feature a functional safety, know that it's a decocker type of safety, ergo it drops the hammer every time you engage it, so it cannot be carried cocked n' locked like the M1911.

Re: Weapon Requests (ya dont have to make them if ya dun wan
I might give the factory scope a go. If it doesn't work, I think I'll do what you said and just boost the aperture size on that rear sight. The reticle is pretty simple, if you look closely you'll notice that it's basically a modified german reticle #1, they just added that U notch that connects th...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
Oh okay! I'll either go with 1c/d or 2, it's already working as you described for 2 but I might change it since there's a fire selector on the model. It'd be easy to remove though. Cool! If you go for a fullauto, you should know that the firerate on a M712 is around the 1000 rounds per minute, alth...

Re: Weapon Requests (ya dont have to make them if ya dun wan
The magazine is not drop free because the magazine well has a rubber insert which acts as a gasket to seal the receiver when the mag is inserted, all to keep dirt from entering into the mechanisms. If you are going to model it with ironsights, it would be best to avoid putting the ones that come wit...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
I forgot to mention. If that Mauser M712 is ported from Red Orchestra 2, then you have one hell of a frankenpistol. First of all, at level 0 is not even a C96, but actually a 'Bolo' short barreled variant. The Bolo, like the C96, can't accept detachable magazines, or fullauto mode, not without exten...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
Yeah, I've added the M712 model with the 20 round magazine already, so I won't be using stripper clips for it. Right now it's only semi automatic and I wouldn't really mind keeping it that way, but if you want it to be mechanically accurate I can change it. No biggie, there're other ways to perform...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
Edit: Does anyone have any experience/knowledge with operating the C96, more specifically the removable magazine version? I've watched tons of videos but they all use the stripper clip version, and I'm pretty sure the slide is operated differently. Pushing a stripper clip into the chamber presses s...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
Thanks for planning on add the lever-action shotgun. I suggested it because of Terminator 2. The only thing is that the Winchester 1887 used in T2 was 10 Gauge (which is bigger than 12 Gauge), loaded with slug cartridges instead of buckshot. For the sake of variety, we already have a 12Ga buckshot t...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
Yeah, to load a Thompson magazine you just push the rounds down. It's like loading an AR-15 or an AK magazine, or any of the double stack (aka staggered row) with dual (or alternate) feed lips type. To unload them, you just push the rounds forwards by the base/rim with your thumb like you would do w...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
The Garand can be reloaded before the clip is empty, but it isn't easy, so most games don't bother. If you pull the oprod handle while pressing on the clip latch (the button on the left side of the receiver), it will eject the clip and all remaining rounds. It's a bit awkward, cause generally you w...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
The M1 Garand would be interest, mostly for its quirky en-bloc clip system. As most of you know, the Garand fires from an 8 round en-bloc clip inserted in its magazine, it can't be manually extracted until the last round is ejected. Once ejected, the bolt is held open by the magazine follower, it ca...
