That's why we don't have preset moves, we have sliders to determine what kind of context sensitive moveset you want.

Mapping them to number keys would work fine. I refuse to have to cycle them, though... that would be a total bitch.

Some kind of Ninja VS Guards mode is really all I need (not counting generic modes like TDM and CTF). One guy starting with a knife has to go against a whole team of guards with swords, pikes, bows, etc. The Ninja has to reach an objective and then escape, but the objective will glow when he grabs i...

Brilliant! If they can actually pull off a version of that that works well and clearly distinguishes styles, it would rock so impossibly hard.

I still like the Faster and Harder attack buttons, though. Combining them with a modifiable fighting style would be the best, I think.

I think cycling would become really annoying. It would feel oddly seperate and complex, like changing to a new weapon, rather than naturally switching to a variation on your fighting, I still say one very good, deep in content but simple execution style would be best. And the two button idea is king...

Well what do you mean? Like aggressive attacks and Quicker attacks? i could think you press TAB for that. maybe with Aggressive you become more susceptible to Reversals but you do Higher DAMAGE. but with Quicker you are less likely to be Revers or miss, but the Damage is Low.. Right. Quick attacks ...

I never felt that Lightning's Shadow was all it was cracked up to be. The coding was nice, but there weren't enough options and the movement was too restricted for it to feel really strategic or explosive. You know what we need? We need someone to port Worms 2 (or Armageddon or World Party, I'm not ...

SMNMX just summarised some things that will be included without even knowwing it :P. Oh, I knew that things like multiplayer and towns are in L2. I made a list of things that would be great in it, which happens to include things that are confirmed to be in it, thus proving just how awesome Wolfire ...

Exploding Bunnies?

I remember a few days ago I was playing the final level of the Lugaru Temple mod. I knocked out an enemy and his body dangled partially over a ledge. Being the psychotic bunny hater I am (not really), I proceeded to stab his corpse with my knife, and was momentarily amused to realize that Lugaru was...

Then one day, in the middle of Animaniacs, the channel interrupted the show with a breaking news story of some guy staked out on the freeway. In front of a live camera, the guy laid out a tarp that said something along the lines of "Don't trust HMOs", then went into his truck, grabbed a s...

By the way, what is with you guys? Necrophelia? STDs? Throwing bodies in the ocean? You have some pretty sick ideas. STDs? Genius! Actually, throwing bodies into the ocean would be kinda neato... Can we agree that what L2 needs is: -Better/more flexible story. -Big new features (towns, multi...

Yeah, they're still adding lots of features to the engine, so actual gameplay and levels and things still need a fair amount of time invested in them.

Black Shades is the only pre-Lugaru Wolfire game that will run on Intel Macs. Rosetta runs PPC-optimized apps on ...

Yeah, even the new Macs can't run the old Wolfire games. Can you really install Mac OS X on your PC? I suppose it's possible now that it's optimized for Intel, but it must be a pretty hard hack getting the installer to work... Installing Windows on a Mac was a real hard process before Apple simplifi...
