Re: Lugaru (newest version) doesn't run on Ubuntu 9.04

Hi rudel, thanks for the help. I am using an Nvidia card, but I have 15 metamodes already, including 1024x768 and 800x600 (1280x1024 is too big for my card though) so it won't let me create a new one (since each must be unique) - figured I wouldn't need a new one if I already had one though so I sel...

It doesn't change anything, not even the error message :?

Same thing for the computer's native resolution...

Re: The "John's beard" thread!

Lol - I noticed the beard everyone was wearing so I decided that, as an act of solidarity towards John, I too should carry his beard :D

Lugaru doesn't run on Ubuntu 9.04 [fixed]

Hey guys, I sent this to Jeff but they've got about a trillion bugs to sort out right now, so John suggested I appeal to the tender loving support of the community :P So yeah - when I run Lugaru from the icon nothing happens, and when I run it from the terminal to see why there's a problem, I get an...

Re: the Seven Tasks - a mini campaign

Just so people know, after I received a rather severe beating from another user(not you jo-shadow) , I'm going back and translating stuff.... Has anyone ever told you that you're insane? No? Then let me be the first :D Being a genius and all (every moment of every day in every place I go by the way...

Re: Map editor tutorial?

Gotcha - now if the hotspots would actually do what they're supposed to (as opposed to nothing) - mabye I'll put like 4 of the same when in the same place, that way you're bound to trigger one of them :D

Yeah - don't think I could have got it that wrong unless it was wrong in the first place - I am, after all, a genius :D

Re: Map editor tutorial?

Yeah, all that's in the readme - what I'm trying to figure out is how to start with a clean slate - so far to do any of that stuff you need to already be in a level :? Also wondering about the extent of things that can be done: for example, can you change the player character's proportions? I wanted...

Map editor tutorial?

Hey guys - wanted to give the map editor a spin an I've figured how to do a whole bunch of stuff with it, but there are a few things I'm having a little trouble with, namely making new levels (rather than loading and editing old ones) - I'm wondering if there's a tutorial out there somewhere. And if...

Re: Boredom makes people want to try these- (little challenges)

There's something epic about really tall cliff :D Jason Bourne Tackle the last enemy off a (too) high cliff and somehow survive the fall. Bowling Rabbit kick an enemy into at least 2 other enemies so that they all fly off a cliff. Blitzkreig Kill a wolf in under 5 seconds. The bug dance Kill all the...

Tussler, please vacate your account, leave the premises of the Wolfire forums, and live out the rest of your pathetic life away from mine.

That better?
Such people don't deserve the breath required to insult them.

Don't take the guy seriously - he's obviously trolling: he's insulted just about everyone he's come across so far...

edit: I totally get the irony of telling someone to "stop being so fucking profane" - it just doesn't belong here.
