Re: Wolfire Android Application

Absolutely positively not.

Wolfire Android Application

Alright, here's a few screen shots of my work-in-progress Android application for the Wolfire Blog. My main goal in making the application was to familiarize myself with the Android SDK, but the application itself allows me to easily check the latest blog entry every morning without trying to load t...

Re: Background

That's exactly what I needed, thanks. The application itself is basically done. There are a few things I'd like to add, but it's definitely functional. I'll make the best icon I can with my limited artistic talent and post a few screenshots of the application tomorrow.

Re: Background

I might upload it soon if there's interest. I still need a transparent image of the Wolfire logo though, if anyone can find one.

Re: Neat little zombie game

It looked good graphics wise, but the weapons didn't look like they had much mass to them. They had kind of an empty feeling.

Re: My Grandaunt Died, Please Pity Me!

While the thread itself has little to prove, I both agree and disagree with RT. I agree that if you are confining yourself to anonymous online friends, you need more than just support. Social dependence is a key aspect of human life. Friends online can provide this, to an extent, but can never repla...

Re: Necromancy and Overgrowth

My rule is usually if a thread is more than 6 months old, most people have forgotten it anyway, so it's better just to start a new thread. Posting on a thread older than that won't get many responses mainly because users don't want to have to read through the whole thread to get an idea of what the ...

Re: Elephant's Dream

It was just a guess. It should be easy to see if that's the problem by looking at size of the video file.

Re: Elephant's Dream

What was the error? It seems to me that the problem might be disk space, though it's not a very long movie.

Good short film, though.

Re: Obligatory Name Explanation Thread

Mine was one of those, "oh crap I have to think of a name", that happened maybe 8 or so years ago. I've always been a proponent of sticking with a single name/avatar on all forums, so this's what I've been using. I've been transferring to GuyNoir slowly, so if you see either, chances are it's probab...

Re: Attack of the beard

Haha. I remember watching that show a few times as a kid. Ironically, it was one of the only theme songs that stuck with me from my childhood, even though I only saw it once or twice. Yeah, how the hell is he still supposed to deduct anything if he doesn't know anything about the future? Eeh, ...
