I feel your pain. Back in middle school I made a lot of cool games in Hypercard and FutureBASIC, but somebody deleted them. It would have been nice to go back and look at them or post them here, but I can't do that now.

Steam and XBLA are both possibilities I am considering. The lack of quality in XBLA games now has mixed effects: L2 would stand out more, but I think a lot of gamers have given up on XBLA. I used to check XBLA all the time to see if anything interesting has come out, but now I don't bother, because ...

I'm not sure this is blogworthy yet so I will just post it here: evolved breakdancing . I am working on truly physics-based animation, and this is what I have so far :)

Normally I fix broken links like that, but I don't think I can fix that one.

Grappling is definitely something I would like to expand on a lot in L2, so you can expect to see some of what you mentioned there :) I would also like to add functionality for custom soundtracks for all my games, but I am not sure if it will be with iTunes specifically (maybe on Mac). Related to sn...

Edit: Now so far I have a lot of work done on parts a and b, and not as much on parts c and d. Therefore I am considering making a new game that is like an updated version of Lugaru 1 in the new engine ( and a different storyline ), and then working on a more open-ended Lugaru game later. Never min...

What? I have a life, and don't read and reply to every single post in the forums. As to your question, I have no idea what you are talking about. I am not remaking Lugaru 1 in the new engine, I am making an entirely new game that just has a similar structure.

Lugaru in the campaign mode is set in a fairly low-tech world, but it might be ok to have some weird things going on in challenge levels.

Would you and Silb mind if I send an email to everyone who bought Lugaru informing them about the Temple and Empire campaigns?
