Yup, those're the ones I was talking about. Not sure if their still compatible, but why not give 'em a shot? I actually had an idea for a more advanced first person mode, but it's a little beyond my programming skills.

I think someone made a mod for that a while back. Just a small camera code change I think. And it happens in the character code, so you can change it in real time.

Haha, yeah. Well, that's cool. I haven't tried installing your mini mod yet, but I'd like to make the animations for it sometime. I think I'll work on the bird mount's animations first so I can figure out how to make it happen. Or maybe I'll start experimenting with the animations for your mod first...

I think that you would have to choose the highest priority target when grouped up. When you have a sword, an unarmed opponent, who is close to you should not be selected before an armed target, unless the unarmed target is attacking. Yeah, it did. I haven't found much of anything else that was really accurate with it's history. My only issue with M&B is that it doesn't bring religion into the mix much at all, which is strange considering how well EVERYTHING else was depicted.

Yes, M&B is the only game out there that depicts most of medieval combat properly. I was thinking that the idea is more of a base for OG to build upon. The arena in Oblivion seemed kind of stylized. It was small, ultra enclosed and cluttered feeling. I'm just biased though, I think.

I think the arena in Mount and Blade is a better example of what OG would look good with. Dismemberment or not, it looks good. It plays well, except for AI getting stuck occasionally. M&B is also a historically accurate game. They don't throw in bullshit magic or dragons, cool or not. It's actua...

Yeah, although it's had mixed results for other folk. For me, I just run it in compatibility mode for Win XP. That works, but you can try that with Admin too.
