Hmm, I think it's only an image which was incorrectly loaded… try to clear your cache.

There's a way to run OS9 on an Intel-based Mac (or PC !) : SheepShaver.
The only problem is that you need a ROM and an adequate version of OS 9 (9.0.4), which mustn't be on a CD shipped with a computer...

The OSX version runs perfectly on my MacBook!
I had the opportunity of playing Black Shades on an PowerPC-based Mac, and the OS9 version of Black Shades supports custom levels... so, it's likely a bug of the OSX version.

I've got a MacBook; so, I'm on Intel and I can't use OS9 apps.

I found Black Shades on a Mac freewares site... then, I searched Google for it (already a fan ) and I found this site, then the forum.

There still be only few active people here, isn't it?..

I have the same problem : when I change the Custom Levels option, nothing changes.

BunnyWithStick, what is your configuration? Have you an Intel-based Mac or a PPC-based?
And, maybe you haven't the same version of the game as us (but, I don't thjink so). Could you send us an zip archive with yours?
