Re: Game Editor Engines

Just wondering, are you really willing to put some effort? ...is this supposed to scare me? As I said: yes, I am willing to put effort into it. It's not like until now learning how to use rpgmaker, garageband , photoshop, documenting on pixel art and maps creation, reading about how to create a cha...

Re: Game Editor Engines

Gamemaker : Looks easy and more versatile than RPGM, but still a bit limited. We would really want to try something 3D with physic and models, after we finish the current game, as we already have a couple of ideas, both "short" and long term. Thanks for the recommendation though, I'll surely tell h...

Game Editor Engines

Hi everybody, I and a a friend of mine are interested in video-game making. We have very little experience, but we are willing to put effort to learn. As for now, we are making a little game with the engine RPG Maker VX Ace Lite . The lite version because we are broke and must use free engines. The ...

Re: randomness

JRPGs in general - I have never finished a Final Fantasy game, so there's probably something right there. Or one of the Tales of ??? games. Or... well, almost any JRPG, really. Maybe Valkyria Chronicles , but it's a war game which suggests it might be on the cynical side of things. And it might tak...

Re: Laptops: best Quality/Price?

Thank you, it looks very cool, just a bit pricey. Still it's a very valid option.
I'll keep an eye out for eventual discounts for this model, it's definitely worth the hunt.

Re: Laptops: best Quality/Price?

I need just the mouse always plugged in. I occasionally link a hard disk for back ups or a usb for volatile storage of not very important files. I wouldn't use a cooling pad, just because it's another weight to bring around... I don't have a tablet, a controller, a webcam or a camera to plug in. Onl...

Re: Big Idea, but hard to make - Bow and Arrows

Sorry to be the party killer, but may I say that bow and arrow doesn't look exactly like a priority? For sure less than dismemberment, for example? I mean i don't get the point to continuously discuss the subject (literally years), if it would anyway possibly (and I repeat possibly, maybe the devs d...

Re: Laptops: best Quality/Price?

@EPR I don't mind the length of your post, it was quite informative. I checked out again the one you bought (with all the extras you mentioned) and have to say that is definitely a fine piece of laptop, but it's a bit off budget. I surely consider it as an option, but this will be discussed in the f...

Laptops: best Quality/Price?

Hi, I don't know much about pc components or trademarks so I would like your opinion. Basically I will change my pc in the next 6 months and would like to know if the deal is good, or if there is a better one. (Quality/price is bigger, even at lower or higher prices) I will need it for studying (sli...
